 This logo design evoking protective powers was prompted by EFCO’s introduction of a heavy commercial window system built on an energy-efficient fiberglass frame. 
 When the trusted Springfield CBS affiliate unveiled a more contemporary image, this logo was the centerpiece. The look carried through to the studio set, on-air graphics, and website.

 The German name “Zimmerman” is the rough equivalent of “Carpenter”—fitting, if accidental, for a construction firm. The shape’s similarity to that of a carpenter’s square is intentional.
